Weekends in The Hamptons aren't known to be a modest affair.

Especially not if you're Beyoncé and Jay Z, who literally toted moneybags for their recent trip, loading up a rucksack printed with stacks of dollar bills.

The power couple boarded a private helicopter headed for the New York holiday hotspot on Sunday, with Queen Bey, 33, balancing three-year-old Blue Ivy on her hip as Jay Z, 45, followed faithfully on the runway behind.

Doting mum Beyonce and her adorable daughter appeared to sport matching Aztec patterns as the mum-of-one dressed in a holiday-ready crop top and skirt.

She looked sensational in horizontal stripes to highlight her enviable curves, while also cutting the matching set in two to reveal her trim middle.

Beyonce was ethereal with golden curls in her hair, certainly looking set for sunnier climates in her sunglasses and gold sandals.

Similarly, Blue Ivy looked set to vacation and carried her own hand luggage in her arms as she was carried to the private aircraft.

Blue was barefoot, explaining why she couldn't walk across the landing strip, and toted a pink novelty basket that carried her in-flight necessities.

Jay Z meanwhile, kept things casual at the back of the family in a simple hoodie, trainers and cargo trousers.

Though they're choosing to holiday in New York this weekend, the heavy-hitters surely won't want to be away from home for long, after they recently snapped up an historic, 1925-built mansion in New Orleans' Garden District named La Casa de Castile for $2.6 million.

The lofty 22-room home, which was originally the Westminster Presbyterian Church and then a ballet studio, reportedly comes with three separate apartments in 13,292 square feet.
