She recently said that Kim Kardashian was cramping her style.

But it seems that Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the five-sister brood, has in fact been imitating her big sister's looks after she stepped out in a Kim-esque bandeau dress for a recent date with rapper boyfriend Tyga.

The 17-year-old has previously named the Kardashian, 34, as one of her biggest style icons, though she's simultaneously accused her stylish sibling of stealing too many of her own fashion ideas.

Kylie, who shares mother Kris Jenner with mum-of-one Kim, was the image of her sister on Monday, even down to the large glasses and the long dark hair when she dressed up for a day out in Calabasas.

Having previously stuck to a signature style of short, medium locks, Kylie appeared to be styling herself on Kim's original look - the flowing dark tresses - which Kim has recently returned to.

And Kylie, despite still being in her early teens, added mature peep toe heels as she picked out a shape that hugged to every inch of her now-curvaceous frame.

With her mid length hair and that much talked about pout, Kylie Jenner is looking more and more like Kim Kardashian every day.

She even cut a very similar hourglass figure to her sister's, placing emphasis on her tiny waist while struggling to keep the dress high enough on her chest as she walked.

With her sister newly-pregnant and her own 18th birthday only two months away, Kylie looks intent on stealing Kim's curve crown by making dressing displays far beyond her years.

Speaking just this weekend, Kylie - who's about to release a fashion line for Topshop with her older sister Kendall Jenner - admitted that Kim's style was someone's she admired.

'Kim's style is wow, definitely,' the baby Jenner told The Sunday Times' Style Magazine.

Kylie, who recently confessed to temporary lip fillers, hinted that she admired the way power couple Kim and husband Kanye West put serious thought into constructing their looks behind the scenes.

'Kim and Kanye together – all their outfits are so cool and they put so much time and effort into being as cool as they are,' she said.

Though emerging style icon Kylie previously slammed her sister on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, accusing her of taking too many of her own ideas.

'She wants to do everything that I'm doing,' the 17-year-old reality star told eldest half sister Kourtney Kardashian, 36.

'I really feel that Kim is cramping my style,' Kylie admitted. 'I feel like style wise we take things from each other.'

One example was their similar desert style photo shoots that were both aired on the episode, in which Kylie landed the cover of Teen Vogue and took part in a Mad Max themed shoot and then Kim later snapped exclusive content for her new website with a similar idea.

'I did this desert photo shoot and she did a desert photo shoot. And she takes everything and does it way cooler,' the youngest daughter of Bruce Jenner added.

Taking a mature outlook on events, Kourtney reassured her: 'Or maybe she doesn't have any cool ideas so you should be flattered because she thinks that you are so cool. She definitely does,' Kourtney explained.

Mum-of-one Kim even recently admitted to dipping into Kylie's closet, saying alongside an old mirror selfie: 'I steal clothes from Kylie's closet!'
