Police were called to Karrueche Tran's home after Chris Brown allegedly followed her home from a nightclub at 3.30am.

Neighbors called 911 after the rapper was heard banging and screaming on her door after the pair reunited at Playhouse Nightclub in LA, according to TMZ.

Earlier in the night, he grabbed the V.I.P. table right next to hers, onlookers said.

The model - who recently dumped Chris after it emerged he fathered a love child - was upset and left, only to be followed by the star to her SUV, where an explosive argument ensued.

The pair are seen leaving the Los Angeles nightclub, with Karrueche looking visibly upset as Chris followed close behind.

TMZ reports that after Karrueche had left the nightclub to avoid her cheating ex, he followed her, and even joined her in her SUV as she drove away.

However, the website reported that his ex did not want him in the vehicle, and quickly made a stop to drop off the R&B star and his friends.

Another TMZ  report joked that Chris had performed a 'magic trick' at the venue after arriving in his Lamborghini sports car and leaving with his ex and her entourage in the SUV, though it was clear that the model's friends were not okay with it, asking the rapper to stay behind.

Video footage obtained by the website shows Chris climbing into the rear of the vehicle alongside Karrueche before they pull away. 

The night didn't end there for Chris though, as he then followed Karrueche to her house at 3:30am, where he stood outside, banging on the door and yelling to try and get her to let him inside.

The cops were called - with TMZ's sources reporting it was likely due to the noises Chris was making outside of the star's house, in the early hours of the morning.

At that point Karrueche then fled Chris again, leaving her home to head to Norm's Diner, where he eventually followed.

Once there it broke out into a screaming match, after which Karrueche finally left and returned to her home without Chris.

It was quite the dramatic night following an Instagram post in which Chris threw up his 'white flag,' asserting that he refused 'to be petty and attention seeking.' 

He had shared the thoughtful snap on May 28, also admitting: 'I can't speak for everyone but I can say that my actions contributed a lot to my karma. Being jealous and angry and controlling.'

However, it seemed he had let similar emotions get the better of him following his run-in with his ex at the Los Angeles club.

And the troubled star made it known as he took to Instagram again on Friday following the incident, sharing a photo wherein his arms were outstretched and he looked to the sky.

'Ask God for help,' the hitmaker captioned the pensive picture.  

It is understood that Karrueche had been on hand to support close friend Christina Milian late Thursday evening, who was co-hosting an event at the popular club with sister Liz.

The former couple's surprise reunion is their first since Karrueche abruptly ended their relationship in March following revelations that Chris had fathered a child with another woman.

The model unceremoniously dumped Chris via Twitter, writing: 'Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family.'

She added: 'No baby drama for me.'

The model has yet to respond to another Twitter beef, this time between Chris and Tyson Beckford.

Their issues seem to have stemmed from a selfie Tyson took of him posing with the petite beauty alongside the caption, 'Saturday with @Karrueche #vegas #palms #blasian'.

Chris then wrote in a post which has since been deleted, 'Be in Vegas soon. Keep playing ima f*** ya baby momma and then whoop yo child like mine. (sic)'

Karrueche is thought to be moving on following her four-year on/off relationship with Chris Brown which saw him have a fling with his ex-Rihanna in 2013 and father a love child with model Nia Guzman.

Recalling the details of their break-up, she told Real 92.3 LA: 'I called him. I cussed him out, and I was like [I’m done].

'You know, because after the whole Rihanna thing, it’s been like a year or whatever — we’ve been trying to fix what was broken, and that was just the icing on the cake.'
