On Friday, Allison Williams, 27, and Lena Dunham, 29, proved there was never a dull moment in the lives of their characters when they filmed Girls in Brooklyn.

Sporting a sizzling ruby red dress, Allison was impossible to miss as she strolled the streets barefoot with a head full of soaking wet hair.

The scene was most likely another radical moment in the life of her character Marnie Michaels.

Back to their escapades! Lena Dunham and Allison Williams filmed a scene from Girls in the streets of Brooklyn on Friday

The brunette beauty wrapped her arms around her slender frame as she made her way across the street.

Meanwhile, Lena kept it casual with a modest light grey dress that was teamed with a black Girls sweatshirt.

Unlike her co-star, the Tiny Furniture actress sported a pair of playful animal print sneakers.

While Allison appeared to film a dramatic moment in the show, Lena was clearly in an upbeat mood when she flashed a variety of silly expressions beside her co-star Alex Karpovsky.

The clean shaven actor was casually dressed in a grey shirt and dark jeans as he socialized with Lena.

In a recent interview, Lena, who plays Hannah Horvath on the show, spilled the beans on filming intimate sex scenes in the show.

She said: 'I never understand when people say "Sex scenes are so mechanical; it doesn't feel like anything." It feels like someone f***ing you! It's confusing.

Jokingly she added: 'I stopped wearing the nude patch after the first season of Girls. There's not one guy who works on that show who hasn't seen the inside of my vagina.'

She also recently acknowledged criticism that the cast of her HBO show suffers from a lack of diversity, claiming she is actively working to better represent all cultures on the series.

Lena made the comments during a round-table interview for Hollywood Reporter with fellow funnywomen Amy Schumer, Ellie Kemper, Kate McKinnon, Gina Rodriguez and Tracee Ellis Ross.
