After pleading guilty to assault and careless-driving, Justin Bieber decided to treat himself to a night out in Hollywood to forget his woes.

The 21-year-old singer was spotted displaying his usual sartorial style while out with friends at trendy Hollywood nightclub, Hyde, on Thursday night, where a mystery brunette appeared to catch his eye.

The Baby hitmaker - who is currently believed to be single - spotted the glamorous girl as he arrived at the hotspot, and seemed somewhat enthralled as she strutted inside the venue.

Looking as though he's been paying close-attention to Pharrell Williams' style, the pop superstar teamed a beige fedora with a red and black varsity jacket and jeans - finishing the whole look off with some white Vans slip-ons.

The mystery girl who caught his eye wore a stylish yet casual ensemble - opting for a striped, baggy jumper, a pair of jeans and some heeled, tan boots.

Perhaps more interesting though, was the fact that the pair were clutching their iPhones - possibly suggesting that there may have been an exchanging of numbers.

Mysterious girl: it is unknown whether the pair know each other, but if the pair were to be romantically linked it would certainly spell the end for any reconciliation with Justin's ex Selena

The singer, who has been involved in an ongoing on/off relationship with pop starlet, Selena Gomez, was obviously keen to put the whole case of assault and careless-driving behind him - presumably letting his hair down after reigning in his precocious behavior of 2014.

It was only hours prior to his night out that he pleaded guilty to charges of assault and careless driving in Stratford, Ontario, where he was involved in an incident that took place on August 29 last year.

The reformed bad-boy is reported to have crashed an ATV into a photographer's van, close to his father's Canadian home, while in the company of Selena, 22.

Justin is said to have crashed the ATV into the vehicle belonging to a man taking photos of the on-again, off-again couple, with the pair engaging in a physical altercation that led to Biebs' arrest on September 1.

According to TMZ, Justin did not have to appear in-person in the Canadian courtroom, instead entering his plea via Skype from the office of lawyer Howard Weitzman - explaining why he was able to head-out and happen-upon the leggy brunette.

His plea was accepted, and Justin was fined $750 for his actions, escaping both jail time and probation.

And, while it appears the singer is trying hard to make-up for his past indiscretions, more serious legal issues could come of an earlier incident in Argentina, where an arrest warrant for Justin and two bodyguards was issued in April after they failed to appear in court.

As for Selena, she was not charged in the August incident and reportedly gave a deposition supporting her on/off beau.

Although they broke up shortly after the arrest, Selena and Justin were rumoured to have restarted their intermittent relationship once more in May, however, that may have crashed and burnt already judging from his longing-looks at the mystery brunette on Thursday night.
