We all have skeletons in our closet.

And if Bradley Cooper believes the latest claims his 29-year-old girlfriend Irina Shayk hooked up with 79-year-old outgoing Fifa president Sepp Blatter, he isn't showing it.

The 40-year-old American Sniper star happily signed autographs and posed for photos as he emerged from yet another performance of The Elephant Man in London.

The actor wore a navy bomber jacket over a white T-shirt with a black baseball cap turned backwards as he greeted fans outside the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Cooper is performing a 12 week run as John Merrick in The Elephant Man, after picking up a Tony Award nomination for the Broadway revival last year.

The Russian beauty obviously isn't put off dating horribly twisted monsters, as she has been to see Cooper contort himself on stage to become the pitiful creature.

Shayk has been seeing Cooper since April after splitting from Real Madrid and Portugal football star Cristiano Ronaldo, whom she had been dating for five years.

But it was another reported ex of the model's that made headlines on Thursday, when it was claimed she had a relationship with the disgraced World Cup boss some time between 2002 and 2014.

Spanish daily El Mundo made the sensational claim about the two in a piece titled 'All the women in Blatter's life.'

The article was written by Berlin-based correspondent Rosalia Sanchez, who claimed the Russian had been named by a 'Swiss source' while she was investigating the outgoing FIFA chief's love life.

Headlines about the supposed affair appeared on news sites as far afield as Peru, Portugal, Mexico and Vietnam and spread like wildfire across Twitter.

A New York-based spokesman for Irina Shayk said: 'The rumours regarding an alleged romantic and/or personal affair with Sepp Blatter by El Mundo newspaper in Spain is a pathetic attempt at defaming Ms Shayk and are absolutely not true.

'We have no intentions of further acknowledging these allegations as they are wholly unfounded.' 

Blatter announced his resignation on Tuesday just three days after winning a fifth term as president amid a corruption scandal that continues to rock world football.
