AirBaltic has extended its codeshare agreement with Uzbekistan Airways. Fliers on New York-Riga will fly on Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 767 service 2X-weekly; service from Riga and any Baltic Sea airport will be flown on airBaltic. AirBaltic also began two direct services to Heringsdorf, Usedom Island. Both services began May 9 from Dortmund and Frankfurt. AirBaltic also launched 4X-weekly Tallinn-Berlin service.

Azul Brazilian Airlines begins 5X-weekly Belo Horizonte-Orlando service Nov. 16-Dec. 13, then it goes to daily.

Spirit Airlines begins three international routes and four domestic: Houston-Cancun, 3X-weekly, increasing to daily June 12; Houston-Los Cabos, 2X-weekly, increasing to 4X- June 11; Houston-Tolua/Mexico City, 2X-weekly, increasing to 3X- June 11; Atlanta-Cleveland, daily; -Las Vegas, daily; -Orlando, daily; and Chicago-Latrobe/Pittsburgh, daily.

Cargolux began 2X-weekly Zhengzhou-Chicago Boeing 747-8 freighter service.

Alitalia will begin 3X-weekly Milan MXP-Shanghai Airbus A330 service.

Thomas Cook Airlines will begin 2X-weekly Manchester-Los Angeles and -Boston with refurbished Airbus A330s in May 2016. New York service will increase to 6X-weekly, Orlando becomes daily and Las Vegas moves to 6X-weekly also in 2016.
