Disney holds many special memories for Mariah Carey so it's not surprising she decided to take her children to the Disneyland resort in Paris during her recent trip to France. 

On Sunday, Mariah, 45, and her four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, enjoyed a fun-filled day at the theme park in Marne-la-Vallée, 32 km east of the centre of Paris.

Mariah and Monroe both wore matching Minnie Mouse ears as the happy family went on a variety of rides including the tea-cups and Dumbo the elephant.

There was no sign of the twins' father Nick Cannon, who Mariah split from last year, as he is currently busy with filming commitments for America's Got Talent in the US. 

Mariah and the twins were joined by a group of friends and even had a Disney employee accompany them around the park. 

When Monroe got tired, Mariah alternated between carrying her little princess and pushing her in a stroller.

In 2013 Mariah and Nick, 33, rented Disneyland in California for the evening to host a lavish fairytale-themed ceremony to celebrate the second birthday of 'Dem babies,' as Mariah lovingly calls her twins, and renew their wedding vows for the fifth time.

The twins were born on their mother and father's wedding anniversary on April 30, 2011.

Mariah was transformed into a princess for her special evening, attended by her tiny princess Monroe, while Nick made the perfect Disney prince, supported by Moroccan.

The couple already said 'I do' four times before that, and in 2012 renewed their wedding vows at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Back in December Nick reacted angrily to reports that he was writing a 'diss album' about his split from Mariah.

The reports originated when his producer Mall spoke to paparazzi about their project.

Mariah  and Nick married on her private island in the Bahamas on April 8, 2008, after just six weeks of dating but former Nickoldeon star Nick confirmed their split in April 2014 after months of speculation.

He has since defended his ex on social media, saying he was 'forever indebted' for the 'gift' of their children.
