Eva Mendes looks lovely in a flirty floral summery dress and crossover sandals as she goes furniture shopping

She might have been looking around a few furniture shops, but actress Eva Mendes looked like a vision when she stepped out on Monday.

The 41-year-old channelled summer in a black floral dress which had thick straps and finished just above the knee.

Cinched in at the waist, the outfit had black, red and white flowers emblazoned throughout and the floaty skirt detail gave some movement as she walked down the street in West Hollywood.

She carried a simple brown leather handbag on her shoulder and topped off the look with a pair of dark black sunglasses.

Her brunette locks were teased into soft curls which framed her pretty features and she wore minimal make-up for the occasion.

Eva Mendes looked fun and flirty while out in West Hollywood, California. The sexy Latina looked gorgeous with her lightly tousled hair and her retro floral dress, not to mention her deep brown leather clogs.

The mamacita is known to love her floral prints, she loves Erdem's floral dresses as well as NY & Company's. In case you didn't know she has a collection at NY & Co. that is filled with printed patterns and floral print. Eva and her boyfriend, fellow actor Ryan Gosling are a notoriously private couple, preferring to keep their personal lives under wraps.

But Gosling, 34, talked about his leading lady in a recent interview and revealed what it was like working with Mendes on his latest film Lost River.

Gosling, who directed and wrote the Drama, told Australia's Sunday Style that he commended Mendes for the work she did behind the scenes on the flick.

The brunette beauty appears in the film as Cat and Gosling told the publication she would help him and the costume designer go and choose clothes for the other actors at thrift shops.
