Now Jennifer Lopez is probed by Morocco Prime Minister after being hit with lawsuit over 'sexually suggestive' concert

Jennifer Lopez has become the subject of an investigation ordered by the Prime Minister of Morocco.

Moroccan PM Abdelilah Benkirane called for the probe after an educational group sued the singer over her May 29 performance broadcast on public television, according to an article on Monday by TMZ.

Benkirane said the broadcast of the concert on the 2M public network was a 'serious delinquency' that contradicted he country's religious and moral values.

He added that the 'sexually suggestive' broadcast violated the country's audiovisual law.

Lopez, 45, performed during the 10-day Mawazine International Music Festival in Rabat with a reported five-second delay for the broadcast.

Benkirane said those responsible for the channel 'failed to intervene and stop the broadcast of the disgraceful scenes'.

He demanded the country's High Authority of Audiovisual Communication 'take legal action against those responsible' for allowing the concert's broadcast.

The education group's lawsuit alleged that Lopez 'disturbed public order and tarnished women's honor and respect'.

Her performance featured skimpy outfits and sexy dances with an emphasis on the singer's of-celebrated bottom.

Both the singer and the concert promoter were named in the lawsuit, which could result in a prison term of up to two years.

The Moroccan lawsuit was not likely to slow down Jennifer, who recently announced an upcoming residency in Las Vegas.

The singer and actress has also begun production for her upcoming NBC cop drama, Shades Of Blue.

Lopez was spotted on Monday filming scenes for the show in New York City.

She stars as Detective Harlee Santos, an otherwise honourable police officer who gets entangled in a 'tight-knit group of dirty cops.'

Expected to air in the winter of 2016, Shades Of Blue does not yet have a release date.

Lopez also can be seen on the big screen on July 17 in Lila And Eve co-starring Viola Davis.
