Say cheese! Rebel Wilson awkwardly shows off her pearly whites as she tries to stay dry in the New York City rain

She has been busy filming her new flick, How To Stay Single, in New York City, but on Monday, Rebel Wilson headed out for some down time.

The 35-year-old opted for a casual outfit as she walked through the busy streets of the never-sleeping city.

The Australian actress showed off her curves in a pair of skin-tight straight cut jeans and a white loose-fitting shirt.

Rebel covered up her bare shoulders with a black leather jacket which featured a criss-cross pattern on the sleeves and a pair of black and white ballet flats.

The actress also showed off her pearly whites as she awkwardly smiled to onlookers as her assistant held a black umbrella over her.

Adding to her look, the Pitch Perfect actress clutched onto a black folder with both hands, while carrying her large brown, gold and red Louis Vuitton bag with her right wrist.

Walk with style in black velvet and skulls

Rebel Wilson likes to show the world she has a little bad girl streak hidden in her...just look at her shoes! You don't wear skull suede shoes unless you mean business!

The actress/comedian was sporting a Jon Josef flat in 'Gatsby.' The skull on the front is quite similar to the Alexander McQueen flat except for the price...Jon Josef's flat is $185 whereas McQueen's is anywhere between $500 to $600!

The velvet flat is great to pair with jeans and a simple graphic T like Rebel did or dress it up with black trousers and a black v-neck bodysuit...talk about sexy!

These babies can be yours for $185, just click (right) and head over to Simply Soles to make em' yours! If you're not diggin' the skull then check out the other flats we loved on our style carousel!

While filming her new romantic comedy around prominent New York landmarks, including Central Park, along with her other leading ladies, Rebel has been keeping fans in the loop from the set on social media.

The upcoming comedy is based on the novel by Liz Tuccillo and explores the lives of a group of single New Yorkers with different views and approaches to dating and will hit theaters on February 12, 2016.

Last month the Pitch Perfect star was embroiled in a scandal after it was revealed she was older than reported.

Instead of being 29-years-old and from the 'ghettos' of Sydney, it was revealed by a former high-school classmate that the actress is in fact 35-years-old and had an 'upper-middle class upbringing'.

At the time the comedian laughed off the claims on Twitter joking: 'OMG I'm actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as "CC Chalice"'

Later, Australian Securities and Investment Commission documents revealed the claims were in fact true.
