After weeks of non-stop promotional events across the globe, Chris Pratt finally got to celebrate the US opening of Jurassic World on Tuesday.

And the actor had his real life leading lady, Anna Faris, by his side as he joined his co-stars for the Los Angeles premiere of the dinosaur flick.

The couple cut a handsome pair as they took to the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and even shared a romantic smooch for cameras.

Chris, 35, looked dapper in a blue suit with checked shirt and dark tie as he held his wife of nearly six years close.

His brown locks looked immaculately coiffed and he displayed the beginnings of a beard for rugged effect.

Mom star Anna, 38, donned a futuristic metallic mini dress which showed off her slender legs.

She teamed the garment with matching gun metal heels and a silver box clutch.

Pratt's co-star Bryce Dallas Howard stunned in a navy floor-length gown with cut-out detail on the neckline.

The deep blue hue perfectly complemented her copper red locks and she sported berry red lipstick for dramatic effect.

Meanwhile, Chris had to do a little damage control this week after comments he made about being 'impotent' when he used to weigh 300lbs.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the former Parks And Recreation star admitted that he hadn't been sure about the meaning of the word.

'I'm not sure I knew what "impotent" meant when I said it,' Chris revealed with a laugh. 'I had a lower sex drive, to be honest with you.

Chris had told Men's Health UK last week that he was in a bad way when at his heaviest, before making changes to his life and getting into shape.

'I was impotent, fatigued, emotionally depressed,' he said. 'I had real health issues that were affecting me in a major way. It's bad for your heart, your skin, your system, your spirit.'

In a seemingly prophetic move last month, Pratt posted a hilarious message to his Facebook page apologising in advance for anything he might say during the promotional tour for the action adventure film.

'I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ‪#‎JurassicWorld‬ press tour,' he began.

'I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry. I swear. I'm the nicest guy in the world. And I fully regret what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s).

Pratt stars in the reboot of the original 1993 Steven Spielberg classic alongside Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and Jake Johnson to name but a few.

According to Deadline, domestic box office opening projections for the movie are well over $100million, with estimates ranging from $110-$140million.
