Bristol Palin SLAMS Miley Cyrus for being a hypocrite and anti-Christian in confused blog rant

  • Bristol Palin is calling Miley Cyrus judgmental in a new blog post
  • Palin accuses Cyrus of being intolerant towards Christians after an interview in which she calls out fundamentalist lawmakers
  • Cyrus says that she is against politicians who support conversion therapy, citing the suicide of transgender teenager Leelah Alcorn as a reason
  • She also says she does not believe in Noah's Ark, which Palin takes issue with as it does not show respect to Christians
  • Cyrus' interview was to promote her new charity for homeless LGBT youth, the Happy Hippie Foundation

Bristol Palin is speaking out against Miley Cyrus following a recent interview the pop star did in which she voiced her belief that people should be more tolerant.

Cyrus said in the interview that she was deeply upset over the treatment of transgender people in this country, and the alarming rate of suicide and homelessness among gay and transgender youth, before stating that in her opinion fundamentalist politicians who are against LGBT rights should not be able to make laws as it pertains to that group.

She then noted that it was 'insane' in her opinion that some of these people still believe in Noah's Ark.

In a blog post, Palin said of Cyrus' interview; 'Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs?'

This after Palin claims Cyrus uses the interview to attack her 'parents’ conservative political views.'

In the interview though, Cyrus does not say anything negative about Christians, but rather who she describes as fundamentalist lawmakers who believe in things such as conversion therapy.

'Those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws,' says Cyrus.

Despite this clear distinction, Palin still writes in her post of Cyrus; 'She wants everyone else to let her be “free to be Miley,” but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith.'

Cyrus has nothing but kind and positive things to say about her parents in the interview however, saying her father Billy Ray is a 'cool hippie psycho freak' and her mother Trish 'a complete optimist, the fuc*ing cheerleader of the universe,'

As for Cyrus' problems with fundamentalist lawmakers, she says most of it has to do with people like Leelah Alcorn, the transgender teenager who killed herself by walking into traffic around Christmas last year after she was bullied and herself forced to undergo conversion therapy.

That tragedy is one of the reasons Cyrus says in the interview she has started the Happy Hippie Foundation, to raise funds for homeless LGBT youth who are not accepted at home.

'We can't keep noticing these kids too late,' Cyrus tells Paper

And though she does not go further than saying she does not believe in Noah's Ark and takes issue with lawmakers who would support conversion therapy, Palin still finds Cyrus' behavior despicable.

'Oh, Miley. Thanks for giving us the best example of what “tolerance” looks like in Hollywood,' writes Palin.

'It looks a lot like contempt.'

On the attack: A week before she attacked Cyrus (left), Palin went after Lena Dunham (right)

This is the second time in a week Palin has gone after a successful female woman in the entertainment industry, also calling out Girls creator, writer, director, producer and star Lena Dunham in a post about the Josh Duggar molestation scandal last Thursday.

In that post, Palin said that the liberal media was vilifying the Duggar family over Josh's actions but did not do the same after Dunham shared a story about looking inside her sister's genitals, kissing her and once 'casually masturbating' next to her in a bed.

Dunham's sister Grace approved those stories however before they were put in her sister's book, Not That Kind of Girl, Dunham revealed after coming under fire for the passage last year.

Dunham also apologized to victims of sexual abuse at that time if her story had been painful or triggering in any way, saying; 'I want to be very clear that I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances.'
