Her parents alerted police when they realised she had left school at about 10.30am and didn't return home. It has since been revealed that the student had been cyber-bullied on a controversial social networking site which has been associated with teen suicides in the UK and US.

Police have shot and injured one man who was involved in a potentially deadly siege as a manhunt in underway for his alleged accomplice. Two shots were fired by tactical police officers during the tense stand-off that took place in Adelaide's CBD on Saturday morning. It is believed the two men had broken into a business in the area, before they were spotted on the roof by a witness shortly after 5am.
