The show really MUST go on: Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl breaks a leg after falling off stage in Sweden... but he keeps on singing
Rocker Dave Grohl broke his leg after falling off the stage during a gig in Sweden.
The 46-year-old did his best to soldier on after the painful accident, and even carried on singing for a short time.
The band was performing their second song of their set Monkey Wrench when the incident happened at their concert in Gothenberg.

Dave lay on the ground for several minutes before being taken back stage.
While he waited for medical attention he told the audience: 'Hey, ladies and gentlemen, I love you too motherf******. Now look I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke leg.'
He added: 'So look, you have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters, we're gonna come back and finish the show.

Assistance: Medics were called to help him with his injury
'Ladies and gentlemen, right now I'm gonna go to the hospital. I'm gonna fix my leg.'
As the audience clapped and whistled he added: 'But then I am going to come back, and we are gonna play for you again. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. We are gonna do it.'
Speaking to drummer Taylor Hawkins he asked him to carry on saying: 'You gotta do it.'

Determined: The Foo Fighters front man said: 'So look, you have my promise'
Down but not out: When he returned bandaged and ready to go he finished his set

'I'm so sorry.'
The singer ended up being taken back stage where medics attended to his injuries.
While he was been seen, the rest of the band played covers which were sung by drummer Taylor Hawkins.

After having his leg bandaged, Dave returned to the stage and finished the concert sitting in a chair.
Staying true to his word he completed the show.
He told the audience: 'I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream.'

Dave is not the first musician to break an bone and soldier on for the sake of the audience.
At the Coachella Music festival in April Florence Welch broke her foot when she jumped off stage.
The Florence And The Machine front woman sat on a chair for the rest of the performance.
