SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: I don't like my looks says Prince Harry's ex Chelsy

She’s tall, leggy and beautiful with a bubbly personality that won the heart of Prince Harry.

But despite her charms, Chelsy Davy reveals she is plagued by insecurities about her looks.

‘I do worry about what my face looks like and my physical appearance,’ confesses Chelsy, pictured at a party for the new Relay Building in Aldgate, London, with DJ Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, half-brother of another one of Harry’s conquests, Cressida Bonas.

Chelsy, 29, had a seven-year, on-off relationship with the Prince, but is currently single since splitting from jeweller boyfriend Charles Goode in January.

She adds: ‘Often I look in the mirror and think: “Oh God! I don’t look that great!” For a start I absolutely hate looking at photos of me. I cringe.’

Elizabeth Hurley received a bouquet of flowers on her 50th birthday from a new admirer. Step forward that old charmer Nigel Farage.

The actress has clearly made quite an impression on the Ukip leader, as the pair were spotted walking hand-in-hand after leaving a private party a few weeks ago.

David Cameron has predicted that Olympic sailor Sir Ben Ainslie will win next month’s America’s Cup. But no reward is without cost, as the four-time gold medallist has had to shed 2st for the challenge.

‘I miss ice cream the most,’ self-confessed foodie Ainslie, 38, groans at the Art Antiques London Party in the Park, ‘and I have about two-and-a-half years before I can eat carbs again.’

AbFab adieu for 'Allo 'Allo genius

A memorial service was held yesterday for screenwriter Jeremy Lloyd, creator of ‘Allo ‘Allo and Are You Being Served?

Joanna Lumley, who was briefly wed to four-times married Lloyd, joined his widow Lizzy in the congregation at St James’s Piccadilly, where there were readings from actress Charlotte Rampling (to whom Lloyd was once briefly engaged) and Sir John Standing and an address by former BBC chairman Lord Grade.

Lloyd’s marriage to Lumley lasted just six months. ‘He was witty, tall and charming,’ Lumley said. ‘We should have just had a raging affair.’

May puts boot into high heels

Her footwear gets almost as much airtime as her politics, but Theresa May is using her fashion status to warn off women from wearing the wrong shoes.

‘I have certain shoes for certain occasions and if I’m going to be walking around a lot, I wear flats,’ the Home Secretary, 58, tells me at a fundraiser for the type 1 diabetes charity JDRF (where she sported Russell & Bromley footwear).

‘Heels look good but they’re just not practical if you’re on your feet all day.

‘Sometimes women should pay more attention to their comfort than how they look.’

Last month new MP Lucy Allan said since arriving at Westminster she has had to sacrifice her stilettos to get around.
