Both have red hair and both expressed a desire to marry their respective beaus in bold black gowns.

But, unbelievably, that caused a fight between Gabi Grecko-Edelsten and Imogen Anthony, with the former claiming she first coined the flame-haired look and told of her desire for a Gothic wedding.

Now Gabi, 26, has extended a olive branch to her 24-year-old apparent rival sharing a meme on Instagram which read: 'Other women are not my competition - I stand with them, not against them.'

Astonishingly, Imogen, who first dismissed the accusations as 'delusional', accepted the peace-offering, writing on Gabi's post 'absolutely' and adding a kiss.

On Friday Gabi's businessman husband Geoffrey Edelsten lashed out at Imogen accusing her of 'copying' his new wife.

'Imogen Anthony is copying Gabi, changing the colour of her hair to orange and saying that she now will have a black wedding dress,' the medical entrepreneur claimed to Daily Mail Australia.

Seemingly the main bone of contention is the fact that Imogen's boyfriend Kyle Sandilands, 44, said on his KIIS 1065 radio show a day earlier that his stunning lover 'wants a black wedding dress'.

Even though Imogen and Kyle have yet to get engaged, the shock jock explained: 'I'm just so scared to say no to her. It'll be all ripped, it'll be sl**ty, it'll be amazing.'

Not one to take things sitting down, Imogen initially laughed off the claims, taking to her Instagram account first thing on Saturday morning to fire off: 'Some people are delusional...

'You give them a little bit, they run with a mile. Don't burn bridges where you potentially want to walk.

'I'm a good, understanding friend when I need to be, but if you f**k me off it won't be nice and you get nothing. Don't talk s**t, it always comes back to bite you.'

'Some people need to be struck with the harsh reality the world doesn't revolve around them, even if it's something as dismal as having the 'same' hair colour. I'm telling you, no one cares,' she added.

She finished off the social media rant with the hashtag, 'Wake up Geoff.'

She turned to Instagram again later in the afternoon, posting: 'The best way to bite your tongue. If you've got nothing nice to say, stick your tongue in your Benz door and slam it please' #fedup.'

But Geoffrey claims it was Gabi's idea first to wear black to their pending, 'lavish' wedding reception, and he says she spoke about it publicly long before Imogen.

'For months Gabi has been saying that her wedding dress would be black and now Imogen is saying the same thing, so I regard her as a copycat,' he insisted.

'She obviously thinks Gabi has a style that she should copy. It's just copycat, which upsets me, because it was Gabi's idea,' he went on.

'I noticed that Imogen didn't have the same colour hair as Gabi at the Maxim party and shortly after she changed the colour of her hair to match Gabi,' Geoffrey continued to DMA.

Despite his claims, Geoffrey added that he has no ill will against Sydney-sider Imogen, describing her as 'very pleasant'.

'But I just think it's strange that she copies Gabi,' he added.
