Amanda Bynes is currently under supervised hold at UCLA Medical Center, and her medical care doesn't come without a hefty price.

The treatment is apparently setting her back $3,500 a day.

Amanda is expected to be kept at the hospital in Los Angeles' Westwood area for the next 60 days at least and possibly up to a year, TMZ is reporting.

'The cost is so high because it covers not just treatment, but living expenses as well. To put this in perspective, you can get a deluxe executive suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in nearby Beverly Hills for $815 a night,' a source tells TMZ.

The Easy A actress was forcibly admitted to a mental health facility in July following a series of alarming incidents, including setting a fire in the driveway of a home in Thousands Oaks, California.

Amanda was initially placed on involuntary psychiatric hold in Ventura, California in July before being moved to UCLA Medical Centre last month.

Her mother, Lynn, was made Amanda's temporary conservator which allows her to make medical and financial decisions for her daughter.

On September 30 a judge will determine if a permanent conservatorship is necessary.

A lengthy say at UCLA Medical Center will certainly be expensive with 60 days running at a cost $210,000 and year costing $1,277,500.

Amanda has insurance through SAG, but the policy only covers a small portion of the expense, TMZ reports.

Amanda reportedly was diagnosed with schizophrenia, according to RadarOnline.

When her tenure is finished, she will reportedly go to live with her mom.

Over the weekend a message appeared on Bynes' official Twitter account saying 'I love Drake' - an eerie flashback to Amanda's Twitter feud with the rapper - but it was subsequently reported that the troubled star's account had been hacked.

The disturbing post had already received over twenty thousand re-tweets before it was denied by her attorney.

'Amanda’s Twitter account has been hacked. She is at the UCLA Medical Center with no access to phones or computers,' Amanda's lawyer Tamar Arminak said in a statement.

Just as long as she is getting the help she needs. That's all that matters.

Simply insane that medical care costs this much (its not exclusive to Hollywood, Beverly Hills or anywhere around there either). Obamacare is only going to exacerbate this problem. I'm glad she's getting the help she needs, but this is ridiculous.

Whether she can afford it or not is not the issue. The fact that it costs that much for mental health care is disgusting. No wonder people go postal, they cannot afford the help. Their families would go bankrupt.

I am so happy to hear that she is receiving the help she desperately needed. It has been obvious for years that she needed this help. The last few months were particularly painful to watch and I never saw anything humorous in her twitter rants/selfies but a cry for help. I hope she recovers fully and goes on to do whatever brings her peace as opposed to the hell that is hollywierd.

Why doesn't she have health insurance?

Better than spending it on drugs and designer clothes.
