After a heated public argument last week, rumours circulated that Denise Welch's wedding to fiancé Lincoln Townley was in jeopardy.

But after reportedly 'spending time apart' and moving out of the house that the couple share, it seems that the Loose Woman has decided not to cancel the wedding.

Speaking on Monday's show, she admitted that 'the wedding is still on', confirming that 'all's well' with the couple.

The 54-year-old presenter was spotted loading boxes into her car on Friday, adding to speculation that she'd temporarily relocated to a hotel after she and Lincoln, who had been due to wed in July, were having some 'time apart'.

But the blonde star clearly wanted to set the record straight just three days later, obviously sick of the rumours.

Speaking about mother's day on Sunday, she said: 'Lincoln was there, contrary to what you may have read. Lincoln got me some lovely flowers and chocolates and I got breakfast in bed which was very nice.'

Co-presenter Jane MacDonald asked her about the rumours, saying: 'I did get the Sunday papers so just explain what's going on with you?'

'The wedding is still on. Nobody has to cancel their flights. It's all fine and we had a lovely Mother's Day. So all's well,' Denise replied.

On Friday, Denise was pictured loaded down with bags and boxes as she left the south London property she shares with her 40-year-old PR boss beau.

The news of the apparent hitch came after Denise and Lincoln were pictured having an angry argument outside a restaurant last week.

And the very public altercation is just one of many rows the pair have been having recent, according to source close to the couple.

One source told the Sunday Mirror: 'Denise and Lincoln have been going through a rough patch. Over the last few weeks, their rows have become more frequent and intense.'

The pair have certainly had something of a whirlwind relationship since meeting a year ago, shortly after Denise split from her husband Tim Healy following 24 years of marriage.

Denise, I believe you are a talented actress with a huge heart. I really like you but please think before jumping in to another marriage so quickly. The early signs of it not working out are already evident. You should wait a year or so to see if you still compatible. Perhaps you have signed a deal with a magazine to cover the wedding, so cancel it! The heartache when the marriage breaks down is not worth a magazine deal. Don't put your sons through further anguish.

Why doesn't she invest in some decent luggage. Buy a few suitcases and put all your tat in them. It's really degrading to be seen carting your stuff about in bin bags and tatty cardboard boxes with locations such as "front room" written on them, who has a front room? Oh yeah, Denise Walsh the epitome of class and a fantastic role model does. Also, just a thought, try combing the back of your hair Luv and taking off last night's make up once in a while.
