Mark Hughes, the former Manchester City and QPR manager, and Celtic’s Neil Lennon are the frontrunners to take over at Leicester City as the club’s Thai owners ponder the future of current boss Nigel Pearson.
Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is counting the cost of Leicester’s defeat in the Championship semi-final against Watford, having made a loss of £30million.
Pearson will get the chance to outline his plans to win promotion while cutting costs.

They forgot to mention Toffee blue's mum in the running, better than Lennon and obviously a young manager as her kid is about 12 at most. - TonyMc, Erskine, United Kingdom, 19/05/2013 13:50 Honestly give up,you trying to be witty just doesn't work....

Wasn't Lennon touting himself for the Everton job last week? - the_hitman86, Glasgow, 19/5/2013********** If he was ever in the running I imagine Bill Kenwright crossed him off the list when every comment from Evertonians was to say 'thanks but no thanks'. Leicester would be daft to take either, Hughes was a great player but proved himself a useless manager and Lennon has only proved himself capable in the one horse race that is the SPL.

Appoint Hughes at your peril. His CV is no great shakes. He'll spend your money and deliver nothing!
