'Running a campaign of hate': Amy Willerton finally has it out with Lucy Pargeter over snide comments in camp

Beauty queen Amy Willerton has confronted her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Lucy Pargeter for leading ‘a campaign of hate’ against her.

Willerton has been criticised by the other celebrities for bringing in banned make-up to the jungle and for not doing enough around the camp.

But the 21-year-old finally spoke to Olympic swimmer Rebecca about the vibe in camp.

Amy said: ‘The other women snap at me constantly and you might not have noticed it but they whisper so much and are making me paranoid. I just think I haven't done anything.’

She added: ‘It's only me they have an issue with, they all get on with each other.’

The former Miss Universe contestant, who has been enjoying a flirtation with Joey Essex, then confronted Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter.

The model began: ‘The way it was put to me yesterday was that you were leading a campaign of hate against me.’

Lucy hit back, saying: ‘Who said that? Was it Al? (Alfonso Ribeiro) That is twisting s**t. It wasn't a hatred campaign, and it was the fact that everyone felt the same, things are being twisted here.’

She added: ‘You were lounging around and doing nothing. We all stink and look like s**t and when I feel someone is keeping something from the team, I get p****d off. I'm not having that going on and I'm going to be saying something.’

The two women then hugged and cleared the air but Lucy later told EastEnders actress Laila Morse: ‘I'm apparently the ring leader and running a hate campaign against her.’

Meanwhile, the departure of TV presenter Annabel Giles from the jungle left some of her campmates in tears.

Giles became the first contestant to be voted off the latest series.

Vincent Simone said through tears: 'I didn't think I was going to be this upset. The fact that me and Annabel joined the camp together obviously made us closer together. Nobody will ever know what it's like to be in that situation.'

Fashion designer David Emanuel said of the atmosphere: 'It's like somebody's died.'
