Mother, 37, suffered broken nose after she was knocked unconscious by five drunken men for rejecting their crude advances

A gang of five men knocked a mother unconscious and broke her nose after she refused their sexual advances.
Tina Lawrence, 37, from Wickford, Essex, says she is now too frightened to go out as a result of the attack which happened when she left a friend's house to buy cigarettes.
She was approached by the men in Wickford, Essex, who were on the street drinking and began shouting lewd remarks and suggestive comments at her.

When she reacted, one of the gang punched her in the face and, as she lay on the ground, she was then kicked to the head.
Ms Lawrence said: 'I heard them shouting at me and I told them where to go.
'Before I knew it they had punched me in the face and then I was kicked in the face. I don’t remember anything that happened after that as I was knocked out.'
When she came round she managed to stumble back to her friend’s home and raise the alarm.
She was later taken to hospital where it was discovered that she had suffered concussion and a broken nose.
Ms Lawrence said: 'The pain is absolutely unbearable. I just can’t believe it happened, it has made me not want to go out on my own.'
Ms Lawrence has been left too terrified to go out following the attack which took place when she left a friend's house to buy cigarettes
Her sister Joanna Lawrence, 38, said: 'These people are just absolute scumbags. They could have killed my sister and they just left her lying there.'
The five men are believed to be white and all aged around 30.
Police are investigating the attack, which happened at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, August 28.
