Hearing the call: Paris Hilton shows off her 'telephone print' dress as she heads out for a shopping spree in her $370,000 Lexus

The last time we saw her gleaming white Lexus LFA it was being ferried away on the back of a tow-truck.

But with shopping to do and no time to waste Paris Hilton was back behind the wheel on Monday for the short journey to Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills.

The 32-year-old socialite left the polished $370,000 sports car in the capable hands of a valet as she made her way inside the sprawling department store for a brief, but undoubtedly expensive spree.

Paris looked stylish in a breezy mini-dress patterned with telephones of varying design as she sashayed through the double doors, a distinctive studded handbag clutched in her right hand.

The blonde star matched her dress with a pair of black tights that served to draw further attention to her increasingly toned legs, while black ankle-boots gave the look a tasteful flourish.

As always Paris kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of sunglasses while she shopped during what appeared to be an increasingly rare public appearance without Spanish toy boy River Viiperi.

The couple have been joined at the hip since meeting at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2012, with the Ibiza born model – who is ten years younger than Paris – frequently accompanying her on her numerous shopping sojourns around LA.

Another frequent companion during such outings is the Lexus, but the costly car came a cropper last year when Paris accidently left the headlights on after parking up in West Hollywood, resulting in the battery going flat.

Fortunately for the socialite a valet was on hand, and after quick call to a mechanic the vehicle was towed to a local garage.

Paris was first spotted driving the car in 2011, 12-months after then boyfriend Cy Waits gifted her with a banana yellow version of the same car for her 30th birthday.

Only 500 of Paris’ custom made car have been manufactured, so it’s likely that Paris had it sprayed white shortly after her relationship with the club owner came to an end.

How do you drive an LFA in those shoes..... then again if someone said I had to wear them to get a go in an LFA I would probably agree!
