Acting legend Sir Anthony Hopkins recently binge-watched Breaking Bad, and was so impressed that he wrote a letter to Bryan Cranston extolling the virtues of the cast and show.

The letter first surfaced on Reddit, and was reportedly shared by Breaking Bad actor Steven Michael Quezada (Gomez) on Facebook, although it appears to have been later deleted.

However, The Huffington Post has confirmed the letter's authenticity with Hopkins' representatives.

Hopkins wrote: "Dear Mister Cranston. I've just finished a marathon of watching BREAKING BAD. I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant! Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen ever.

"I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and Ive sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning." - huffingtonpost.com

Trouble in paradise

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart may not be in it for the long haul. A source tells E! News that the couple's relationship of nearly two years has hit a rough patch and a breakup may be imminent.

"Things are not going well at the moment," the insider says. "They are bickering and it's clear to the people around them that there is an irritation between them at the moment. It's hot and cold, but more cold than hot right now."

Reps for Lopez and Smart have not responded to requests for comment. - eonline.com

An expensive pre-nup

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly signed a pre-nuptial agreement worth £200 ($380) million. The couple - who raise six children together - are planning to marry over Christmas and the Moneyball actor has had his lawyers draw up a 101-page document which states that, in the event of a split, he will keep his pre-marital £110 ($209) million fortune and his partner's £90 ($171) million assets will also be protected.

The agreement also states the couple would share equal joint custody of their kids if they ever go their separate ways. - tvnz.co.nz
