Since How I Met You Mother wrapped last year, Alyson Hannigan has gotten to revel in mommy duty.

The 41-year-old actress doted over her daughters, six-year-old Satyana and three-year-old Keeva, during a day camping trip on the beach in Malibu, Los Angeles on Saturday.

Alyson snapped photos of her girls as they sat cross-legged on the sand, wearing matching outfits.

Satyana and Keeva were coordinated in bright purple sweaters and leopard print trousers.

Alyson was casually clad in a plaid hooded jacket with grey trousers and Ugg boots.

On Friday, Alyson also played the doting mother, indulging in a picnic in Malibu with a friend, with her daughters by her side.

It seems the red-headed actress is taking a break from work ever since parting ways with her How I Met Your Mother character Lily Aldrin in 2014.

She was at one point attached to The McCarthys, however the show was removed from the CBS line-up earlier this year, according to Deadline.

Alyson was also attached to the sitcom, More Time With Family, from producers Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, though the pilot was not picked up.

Meanwhile, Alyson recently revealed the one item she won't wear, now that she's a mom.

'I don't think I'll ever wear a crop top,' she told People. 'I've had two children. My belly button will never be the same after the two kids – or my belly!'
