North West has not even turned two years old yet (that will happen on Monday) and she's already trying on a gold and diamond necklace worth upwards of $25,000.

On Friday Kim Kardashian shared a photo of her daughter with 38-year-old father Kanye West's heavy chain around her neck.

The 34-year-old reality star, who is pregnant with her second child, captioned the image, 'No daddy it's me necklace.'

North was looking down at the piece of jewelry clearly fascinated with the sparkling diamonds that covered each chain link.

The granddaughter of Kris Jenner, 59, was wearing a dusty rose tank top that had designer detailing like gathering on the shoulder.

In September 2013 Kanye modeled the bling when with Kim in Paris. Then again in June 2014 he flashed the item when running errands in Hollywood.

In December he had the chain on, worn over his grey hoodie, while performing at world AIDS Day in NYC.

This posting comes just after Kim told the July issue of Glamour that rapper West does not want North, nicknamed Nori, growing up too fast.

The E! star recalled an incident where North got into her closet. The Stronger singer was not impressed.

'North out on these Manolo heels of mine and was walking perfectly around my closet.

'I sent Kanye a video of her; he was like, "Tell her to stop! She cannot grow up, she cannot wear your heels."'

She also touched on what it would be like if North grew up wanting to do a nude shoot like Kim did for Paper magazine.

When the writer asked the reality queen if she would let the child do so, Kim responded, 'I think I would if it were done artsy and cool. I can't speak for Kanye - he freaks out when she tries on my heels.'

Mr and Mrs West have been dressing North like a mini Kanye pretty much ever since she was born (even though her family's children's clothing line Kardashian Kids is all about pastels and prints).

'I'm completely boring actually. I don't wanna kill the blogs and the media takeout and everything, I'm so boring.'

The New York native added, 'All I do is go to the studio every day. At this point I'm like, "I'm ridin' through the 'burbs with no woes."' He was borrowing from Drake's song Know Yourself.
