In an interview with Larry King in 2013 she said: I think that we’ve come a long way religiously.

‘I don’t think that you have to take the Bible literally … And I love being able to teach my children (she has twin boys aged six) what it means to just believe and have the strength of faith … I’ve always been extremely Catholic.

'My father was Catholic, and he brought me up that way.'

Meanwhile Lior has hit the headlines for different reasons to his love.

He was charged with insurance fraud according to The Daily Beast after falsely reporting the theft of a 4.21-carat diamond from his jewellery store in 2010.

After fleeing to Israel and attempting to sell the diamond he claimed was stolen he was sentenced in 2011 after pleading guilty.

Lior was sentenced to three years of probation, five days in jail and 90 days of home confinement.

He also had to pay $99,000 in restitution to the insurance company and return the rock.
