Throwing shade: Pierce Brosnan shields himself from the sun in orange glasses as he goes shopping for art in Dublin

Pierce Brosnan appeared to have brought the Malibu weather with him as he returned to him native Ireland this week.

Pierce, who is in Ireland shooting a new film, rocked a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses as he strolled through Dublin on Friday afternoon.

The 62-year-old opted for a casual all-black outfit for his city centre stroll, and was spotted stopping by a fine art auctioneers.

The former James Bond made a pit-stop at a local pub, charming the female staff over a pint of Guinness.

'The lovely Pierce Brosnan was just in having a pint of Guinness. He certainly has a way with the ladies,' a member of staff at the Dakota told the Irish Mirror. 

The Goldeneye actor lives in Malibu with his wife of 14 years, Keely, 51, and their sons Paris, 13, and Dylan, 18, but is in Dublin filming his new movie I.T. 

Pierce both stars and produces the film, which also sees Anna Friel and Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist take leading roles.

He plays a successful publisher whose relationship with a young I.T. consultant sours, and soon finds that his new enemy is using using technology to threaten his family, business, and life.

As well as I.T., the Irish actor will soon star in forthcoming fantasy adventure film The Moon and the Sun which has been filming in Australia and France where he plays King Louis XIV.

The film focuses on the King's quest for immortality, leading him to capture and steal a mermaid's life force, and will be released later this year.
