Shanina Shaik was dressed to impress when she attended the Australian Fashion Foundation Summer Party in New York on Thursday.

And with her ex-boyfriend Tyson Beckford at the same event, the brunette made sure she seriously sizzled upon her arrival.

The 24-year-old Australian model stunned in a sleek black frock at the stylish soiree, the daring number boasting a plunging neckline which left very little to the imagination indeed.

She might have been at the Australian Fashion Foundation party celebrating the Aussie's achievements in fashion and design, but Shanina eschewed the country's born and bred labels, instead opting for a lacy see-through dress by Tome - a New York City based designer.

With an intricately laced bodice, and black pleated skirt with a thigh-high slit, Shanina's dress showed off her enviable figure in all of the right places.

Injecting a hint of colour into her look, she teamed the striking dress with a pair of strappy lime green heels.

Her dark tresses were worn out in loose waves, while lashings of jet black mascara and a slick of light pink lipstick highlighted her stunning facial features.

No doubt, having enjoyed herself at the event, the beauty who rose to fame after starring in Make Me A Supermodel in 2008, shared a photo on Instagram from the day.

A close friend of model Shanina recently confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that Shanina and Tyson have called time on their relationship.

But since news of the couple's breakup has been made public, the Aussie beauty has been linked to international rapper, Drake and US DJ Ruckus, real name Greg Andrews.

According to E! News the Hold On, We're Going Home rapper and Shanina looked to hit things off after they were spotted hanging out at the New York City hotspot Up & Down the previous week.

Shanina and Tyson had dated on and off since meeting on set of Australia's Make Me A Supermodel back in 2008, but ended their romance in November 2013.

After a brief relationship with Cleveland Browns cornerback Julian Posey, Shanina rekindled her romance with Tyson, though that is now well and truly over too.
