She famously relishes motherhood and wants to spend as much time as possible with her kids.

And Kourtney Kardashian looked as pleased as her brood that they were heading to Universal Studios on Friday.

The mother-of-three took her eldest son Mason and daughter Penelope to the theme park in California to enjoy the host of rides at the attraction.

Ensuring she fitted in with the other LA mums at the park, she sported a pair of tiny ripped hotpants, which perfectly showed off her slender legs.

She added a striped sweater and shades to complete her day of fun look.

While her youngest tot Reign was left at home, Kourtney was spotted strolling hand-in-hand with one of her female friend's children, who looked she was having the time of her life as she chatted happily to Mason, five.

Kourtney then took her two-year-old daughter Penelope out of her pushchair so she could get a full view of all the fun of the theme park.

Her family and friends day comes as she her Kardashian Kids collection in Australia.

Speaking to the Sydney Telegraph about how she gives her kids freedom when it comes to their fashion, she said: 'I pick my battles. You want to give them the freedom and I love to let them choose.

'Having a passion for what they wear is an expression of who they are.

'But if I really care what the kids are wearing, like, if it’s Easter and we’re going to church and they need to dress for the occasion, they can’t just say, "I want to wear my pyjamas all day." So I’ll plan it in advance and I’ll have them help me pick out the outfit.'

However, not all of them have inherited their dad Scott Disick's dapper style of dressing.

The 36-year-old added: 'My mom got Mason this magenta velvet blazer for Christmas Eve, and I knew getting it on him was going to be challenging. So I had him try it on and kind of gave him reminders. As long as he wore it walking in and I got some pictures, I didn’t care.'
