Perhaps if Ellen DeGeneres was not a Emmy-winning TV personality, she would be a successful interior designer.

The 57-year-old daytime talk show host was seen visiting upscale furniture stores in Montecito, California indulging in her favorite past time of antique shopping on Saturday.

Accompanying the emcee on the outing was wife and Scandal star Portia de Rossi, 42, who stayed close to her spouse by interlocking arms for some PDA.

Ellen was dressed in her signature androgynous style wearing a blue collared dress shirt, navy jacket, trousers and sneakers.

The pixie-cut star covered her eyes with aviator sunglasses during her walks in and out of the many stores.

Meanwhile, wife Portia was also sporting casual attire in a jean jacket, pink shirt, loose-fitting harem pants and sandals.

Together, the married couple of seven years own three houses together including a new property in South Africa, which they recently visited.

Ellen has such a strong passion for interior design that she executive produced her competition show called Ellen's Design Show on HGTV.

'A lot of people don't know that I have a passion for interior design, so I'm excited to be releasing this book,' Ellen said in a statement. 

The two-time Academy Awards host is also set to publish a design book called HOME in the fall2015.

'Now everybody can see how things come together inside my home and in some of my favorite places. It's called HOME because you know what they say, "Home is where the books are about interior design."'

Ellen will also launch an e-commerce site for her lifestyle brand E.D. in the spring.
