But Taylor Swift made on fan’s big day all the more memorable as she helped newlyweds Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann celebrate tying the knot by inviting them to party with her after her show in Philadelphia.

Blushing bride Katy, who is a Taylor Swift mega fan, and her husband were spotted by Taylor’s mother, Andrea, after they eloped and got hitched outside Taylor’s concert at the Lincoln Financial Field on Friday evening.

Today was a fairytale: Taylor Swift made on fan’s big day all the more memorable as she helped newlyweds Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann celebrate tying the knot by inviting them to party with her

After being pulled backstage by Taylor’s mother, the pair were introduced to Taylor and were able to take pictures with the superstar - who gifted them with a handwritten note on blue paper.

Taking to Instagram, Katy captioned of photograph of the trio explaining: ‘“Last night was a dream sequence" Instagram, meet my new husband Chris and our new friend Taylor!!!!!! I have no words to express lastnight!! My two dreams came true!!! @taylorswift #1989tourphilly #hitchedattswift #bestnightofmylife’.

In a previous post, the dedicated fan revealed just how much she loved Taylor as she explained how the couple decided to get hitched outside the concert venue.

Sharing a collage of text messages, plane tickets and the kissing couple, she wrote: ‘Some of you may have saw on facebook that Chris and I plan to get married in 3 days at the #1989tourphilly Taylor Swift Concert #06122015 ---

‘We originally planned a a whole wedding for 12-13-14 ( Taylor's 25th birthday! ) We had reasons why we had to put it off. Meanwhile, I've had a gown hanging in my closet!! And as I was making our homemade outfits for Taylor (as I have done every two years when she comes to town) a joke about wearing my gown to the concert turned into us driving to Philly to get a marriage license and planning a ceremony outside of Lincoln Financial Field right before walking into the concert in our tux and gown!

She continued: ‘We kept it a secret for the most part until today! If you know anything about me its probably how I have been obsessed with Taylor since I first heard her in 2006. Chris has been very supportive and could even put most girls to shame going word for word on any of her albums (including deluxe editions) So naturally how could I ever give him up?!

‘He is an incredible person and an amazing fiance! He also is the best father to our beautiful son and I cant wait to share their last name! And her plea clearly worked with the pair’s story soon reaching Mama Swift and leading to the extra special meet and greet.

Katy has since updated her Instagram biography to say: ‘Born in 1989 | question everything | 6/12/15 In a 24 hour window I married the love of my life and met my hero. If im dreaming dont wake me up.’
