David Beckham treated the dads of his son’s Arsenal academy team-mates to a private jet experience.

Cruz Beckham, the most promising footballer of the former England captain’s offspring, was representing the north London club on a playing tour of Germany.

And his dad, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, bumped up three of his father’s team-mates from commercial flights for the trip.

The foursome and Beckham’s father Ted posed in front of the 40-year-old’s private Lear Jet ahead of watching Arsenal’s under-11 side.

Joining Beckham on the flight was snooker professional Alfie Burden, currently ranked No 56 in the world, and father to one of Cruz's playing pals.

‘They couldn’t believe their luck,’ a source is quoted as saying in the Sun Newspaper. ‘They said he [Beckham] was a brilliant host and came across as a great bloke. It was a day they’ll never forget.’

Beckham posted a picture from a bar on the trip: ‘Dads on tour,’ he wrote. ‘Posted four times not sure why maybe it was the one pint of Guinness I had with my garden salad. Anyway great evening with my dad plus some of the other boys dads as well.’

He later added: 'Great weekend the boys did us parents proud. Worked hard, won together, lost together and played with smiles. Well done boys.'

Cruz, 10, is enrolled at Arsenal's Hale End academy with older brothers Romeo, 12, and 16-year-old Brooklyn, although the eldest Beckham boy is not expected to be retained by the club next season.
