As a glamour model she's frequently dressed to impress.

But Katie Price was clearly in mother-of-five mode when she stepped out in the city of Brighton on Friday afternoon.

Trading her tight dresses and myriad make-up for something a little more practical, the 37 year-old emerged in an off-duty outfit, which consisted of baggy sweatpants and trainers.

Sporting the cropped jogging bottoms with a grey pair of trainers, she added a bizarre black and white cardigan to the mix for an eclectic look.

Wearing hardly any make-up, except for some foundation and eye liner, her blonde hair was casually scraped back into a messy braid.

The appearance will be quite an unfamiliar one for many of her fans, who frequently see her in full-glamour mode.

The Pricey is right: Her daytime look was in stark contrast to her usual OTT style, which she sported at a Now magazine party earlier this week

Walking along the city's seafront, she seemed preoccupied as she climbed into her car following a visit to a local nail salon, where she enjoyed a manicure.

Perhaps she was concerned about the prospect of facing her former husband, Peter Andre, in court next year.

The awkward encounter will come as a result of her ongoing legal battle against him and her former manager, Claire Powell, who still represents Peter.

Price, Peter and her former manager are set to come face to face in the High Court on January 25, 2016, according to The Mirror over three years after Katie first launched proceedings in September 2012.

Among her complaints are claims that Claire leaked personal details about Katie to the media following her split from both Peter and the management company.

A source said: 'There's going to be some real courtroom drama. All parties have had this hanging over their heads for so long, they're prepared for anything.'

Ms Powell and representatives for Katie told MailOnline they would not be commenting on ongoing legal proceedings.

Former glamour model Katie first filed high court papers in 2012, alleging the Mysterious Girl singer and his representatives were responsible for a smear campaign against her.

Speaking at the time, a spokesperson for Katie Price told the MailOnline: 'Kate is having to continue her claim against her ex-husband and ex-manager for breach of confidence.

'The pleadings in that action speak for themselves and Kate has no comment to add.'

Her former manager Claire confirmed the legal proceedings in 2012 and told the Daily Mirror: 'We consider that the claim is without merit. The matter is in the hands of our lawyers and will be defended vigorously.'
