It's been exactly a year since Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello began dating.

And The Modern Family star shared her joy at their first anniversary as a couple with a wonderfully romantic snap of themselves cuddling up for a kiss, which she posted on Instagram on Sunday.

The love-struck actress captioned it: 'Happy 1st Anniversary love of my life!!! Never been so happy!!#lucky @joemanganiello.

In the garden-set picture, the Colombian beauty was wearing a yellow sundress with her long ombre hair cascading down her back.

She linked her arms around her hunk beau's neck and pulled him in close.

Joe, 38, had his hands clasped around her waist as he closed his eyes and leant in ready for his kiss.

The Magic Mike XXL star donned a black, short-sleeved shirt with a white pattern. Sporting his usual beard and moustache, his thick dark hair was cropped close at the sides but left long at the top and he swept it back off his face.

Sofia and Joe started dating after the actress ended her stormy on/off romance with ex-fiancé Nick Loeb, who is presently fighting to bring to term the two embryos they created together against her wishes.

The True Blood heart-throb proposed to Sofia on Christmas Day on holiday in Hawaii and they are now planning their nuptials, although they haven't revealed a date.

It will be a second marriage for Sofia, who was previously wed to teenage sweetheart Joe Gonzales. They split in 1993 after two years of marriage and share a 22-year-old son, Manolo.

Meanwhile, on Sunday Joe will be seen on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night, the special primetime shows have been airing every night of the NBA Finals between Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors with different celebs joining Jimmy.

Joe will be there with his Magic Mike XXL co-stars Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez, Matt Bomer and Kevin Nash. The movie, about a troupe of male strippers, is due out July 1.
