They've created a fiercely private, yet seemingly blissful, life across the pond in New York.

But hot Hollywood couple Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke still like to spend lunch dates in their favourite Manhattan spots, regardless of the extra attention.

Harry Potter star Daniel, 25, tried to keep a low-key appearance as he pulled a baseball cap down to shadow his face, while his 30-year-old girlfriend was bold in a patterned midi skirt as they made their way to Sushi Samba for food on Tuesday.

The couple held hands as they strolled through the West Village, and appeared to be locked in conversation.

Daniel has been dating the American actress since 2012 when they met on the set of Kill Your Darlings, and has been forthcoming about hinting that she's his 'best friend'.

The Brits have set up a life in Manhattan since hitting the big time with their movie careers, and Daniel recently stepped out in support of his beauty when she opened her play.

She stars in The Spoils in New York City. a play written by written by Jesse Eisenberg, about a woman plagued by her ex-boyfriend.

The critics looked favourably on her performance as Sarah last week as well when The New York Times called her 'excellent' and the New York Daily News praised her as 'always believable.'

Speaking to her old college, University of Michigan-Flint about her work recently, Erin said: 'I have been incredibly lucky to have a few of those in my career thus far.

The Spoils is another one, and to have those two amazing projects kind of converge during this time has been sort of surreal. Lovely, but surreal.

'It just makes me want to continue to work hard and hope that the future brings more projects that I am proud to be part of. I just hope to continue doing good work, with good people, regardless of the medium.'

Radcliffe's most recent project sees him in a TV film role, as he portrays the brains behind controversial computer series Grand Theft Auto.

The movie, Game Changer, might be stopped in its tracks nonetheless as makers Rockstar Games are thought to be suing the BBC so that their trademarks are not being used to prove that certain video games incite violence.
