As a happily married woman, Cher Lloyd is not exactly Tinder's target audience but that didn't stop the singer attending a bash for the dating app in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Cher, 21, who tied the knot with hairdresser Craig Monk in November 2013, partied with a host of celebrities at the Tinder Plus Launch Party which was held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.

Dressed in a striped black and white shirt and skinny jeans, Cher's numerous arm tattoos were clearly visible.

Tinder is a free location-based dating application that allows users to interact only when both parties express an interest by 'liking' each others profiles.

The updated Tinder plus adds extra features for fee-paying subscribers including Rewind and Passport.

Cher has based herself in Los Angeles since shooting to fame on The X Factor in 2010, after she was mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

WHAT IS TINDER PLUS

Tinder is a free location-based dating application that allows users to interact only when both parties express an interest by 'liking' each others profiles.

Users swipe left to ignore and right to find a match.

The updated Tinder Plus adds extra features for fee-paying subscribers.

These include a Rewind button, allowing users to take back their last swipe if they accidentally swiped left instead of right.

For power users who want to express interest in a large number of people, Tinder Plus grants unlimited liking capability.

Passport lets users change location to connect with people anywhere around the world.

This removes the current geographical restrictions.

Cher was snapped up by Simon Cowell's record label Syco straight after the competition and scored a debut number one with her first single Swagger Jagger.

She met Craig in April 2011 when he fitted her hair extensions at the Four salon in Mayfair.

Lloyd had clearly been eager to walk down the aisle for some time, as back in April 2012, she told the Daily Mirror: 'I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible. I can't wait.

'I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him.'

The couple got engaged in 2011 after just a few months of dating and as well as a diamond engagement ring, Cher had her wedding ring finger tattooed with a heart.

When asked about her choice to get engaged at such a young age, the star said: 'People are negative no matter what you do. People are always going to say, "She's too young!"

'I'm from a Gypsy background! I'm meant to be married by now. But I’m happy, really happy. I love him to pieces, more than anything in the world, but I don’t want people to take that away from me.

Meanwhile, there were a number of single and attached celebrities at the Tinder Plus bash, including Jason Derulo who had an acrimonious split from Jordin Sparks last year.

DJ Zedd, Selena Gomez's rumoured love interest and collaborator on the track I Want You To Know, was also present, as was Justin Bieber's former flame Chantel Jeffries.

Khloe Kardashian's on/off boyfriend French Montana partied the night away while TV personality Nick Simmons and model Rebecca Szulc were also present.
