They only came back from their honeymoon in the South of France a few weeks ago.

But that didn't stop newlyweds Geri Halliwell and her new husband Christian Horner from jetting off for another romantic break in Austria.

Smitten Geri posted pictures of their break to social media on Saturday, and the Spice Girl looked cute as button in the snaps as she wore traditional Austrian dress.

The 42-year-old was all-smiles as she showed off with her husband - who she tied the knot with in May - as they took to an active holiday in the mountains.

Geri was keen to get into full holiday mode as she donned a a traditional dirndl dress for the occasion.

Along with the fun snap, she wrote: 'I'm in Austria, off out wearing custom dress dirndl.'

The dress had a lace-up blue gingham bodice, which perfectly complemented her pale skin tone and she looked radiant in its flattering A-line shape.

Her flowing red hair and make-up were natural to fit in with her lush green surroundings, as she posed for a picture in a picturesque park.

Earlier in the day the pair had reached the peak of the snowy Austrian mountains for a hike and after their excursion a relieved Geri posted a video to her Instagram.

She captioned the video: 'We made it to the back. At one point I thought I was going to ask you to call out a rescue team. Shattered! It was brilliant.'

It was an active holiday for the new couple, who have been embracing married life and were clearly delighted to be spending quality time together.

The couple, who wed at St. Mary's Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, on May 16, have been spending a lot of time together since they tied the knot and attended the Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday.

The singer also enjoyed a mini Spice Girl reunion with Emma Bunton and Mel C, who were also at the festival in Newport.
