Kim Kardashian has confirmed she is having a baby boy.

In honour of Father's Day, the 34-year-old confirmed the rumours that she and Kanye West will be welcoming a son.

'You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!' she posted on Twitter on Sunday.

Kim revealed the exciting news just after sharing a photo of North reading a pop-up book on Kanye's lap. along with the words: 'Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for.'

She had earlier posted: 'I'm so lucky to be married to a man who is so in love with his daughter, your bond is so irreplaceable! Thank you for being such a good dad! We love and appreciate you so much! We're so blessed to have you!'

It was rumoured last week that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and the rapper are expecting a son, but Kim was quick to respond to the claims.

In honour of Father's Day: Kim's announcement came after she posted this photo of North and Kanye

'So many rumors...we are not having twins, yes I am carrying my own baby lol & we have not told anyone the sex of our baby yet!' she tweeted, adding: 'Nothing is confirmed unless you hear it from me!'

It's an exciting time for the couple, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary last month and threw a birthday party to celebrate North's second birthday at Disneyland earlier this week.

Kim announced her second pregnancy last month via a teaser for the next half of this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Father's Day was an emotional one for Kim, as she was missing her late dad Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003.

'It's been over a decade since you've been gone but the memories run so deep they will last forever! Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads out there!'

Kim has said that she is making an effort to stay healthy during her second pregnancy, revealing to Us Weekly: 'This time around I have a nutritionist to keep me healthy while I’m pregnant.

'The last pregnancy, I ate a donut every single day, I’m not doing that this time. But I've also been taking it easy and enjoying myself.'
