Not very model-like! Kendall Jenner gets camera shy as she strides through LAX showing off her slim pins in skinny jeans

She has been making her mark in the modelling realm, so she's clearly not camera shy.

But Kendall Jenner shied away from the spotlight on Saturday, coyly holding her hand over her eyes as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport.

Still, it was hard to miss the statuesque 19-year-old, who put her lean legs on display in a pair of tattered skinny jeans.

Why so shy? Kendall Jenner tried to remain low as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday

The brunette beauty appeared jetset chic, teaming her distressed denim trousers with a loose-fitted faded green T-shirt and black stilettos.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added a hipster touch by covering her silky strands with a black brimmed hat that matched her designer bag.

Meanwhile, Kendall kept her eyes concealed with a pair of red-tinted mirror-lens shades.

Look red hot in Kendall's sunglasses by Victoria Beckham

Whenever we spot her in an envy-inducing new outfit, we see red. But in this case, it was Kendall Jenner who was looking at life through red-tinted glasses!

The Kardashian-Jenner clan are quite the experts when it comes to choosing sunnies (well, one would expect so when you live in LA), and we’re pretty excited that we’ve seen a fair few of them wearing our very own Victoria Beckham’s designs.

Here, Kenny is rocking the ‘Classic Victoria’ sunglasses, which happen to be VB’s favourite style of shades. We’re loving them in a fire engine red hue which would be hard to miss on a summer’s day out, and will go with any outfit as a statement accessory. Love it!

The model was returning from New York City, where she frequents quite often for her career.

Kendall has walked the runway for many top designers such as Fendi, Balmain, and Marc Jacobs.

She has also graced the glossy pages of countless magazines including Vogue and is a face for brands such as Estee Lauder.

So it surely came as a shock to suddenly see Kendall so camera shy on Saturday.

The same could not be said for Wednesday, when the E! star attended the 2015 Fragrance Foundation Awards in NYC.

There, Kendall chatted with with E! News about her family - specifically about her transgender father Caitlyn and her new docu-series I Am Cait.

She voiced her complete support for her parent's new life as a woman, but it seems she still adjusting to the transition and continued to refer to Caitlyn as 'he.'

When asked what fans could expect from the eight one-hour long episodes, Kendall smiled with pride.

'Good things. I think he can honestly do so much good with everything so I'm excited for it. If he's excited, I'm excited,' Kendall said of the patriarch.

Since Caitlyn's big reveal in Vanity Fair on June 1, the 65-year-old has chosen to identify publicly as a woman and now prefers the female pronoun.

However, Cailtyn has previously made it clear that she understands it will take time for her family to adjust.

'[Caitlyn] spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this,' a family source told People recently about the transition.

'She would prefer not to be called "Bruce," but told the kids that they could still call her "Dad," at least for now.'

At the perfume gala, Kendall looked stunning in a red asymmetrical Halston Heritage dress when she credited her parents Caitlyn and Kris Jenner for helping her deal with her meteoric rise to stardom in a positive direction.

'I mean they raised me, I think my dad especially was kind of hard on Kylie and I when we were kids and taught us how to be mature adults at a very young age and we grew up with sisters who are 16 years older than us so I think naturally you grow up with that kind of sense of maturity.'
