Because being incredibly attractive and talented was not enough for him, Joe Manganiello also proved on Monday that he could be sweet and funny.

The 38-year-old actor visited Good Morning America Live! with Kelly and Michael and Fox News to dish on his upcoming movie, Magic Mike XXL.

He revealed a few fun facts about himself and the movie - and then Joe also discussed the romantic details of how he proposed to fiancee Sofia Vergara.

Fun guest: Magic Mike XXL star Joe Manganiello visited Good Morning America on Monday

People report that Joe confessed to Kelly and Michael that he proposed to Sofia in her native language of Spanish.

'I had a big speech in Spanish, and that's what I was nervous about,' he said.

'The last thing you want to do is like mess up the Spanish on the proposal to the Colombian woman.'

Joe added that part of his speech included 'Eres mi todo,' that means 'you are my everything' in English.

Speaking about Magic Mike XXL Joe told GMA interviewer Lara Spencer that she could not even say his character's name - Big Dick Richie - on daytime television.

Another topic that seemed to be particularly amusing was GMA co-host Michael Strahan's role in the film.

'I don't think we can really show Michael Strahan's part on daytime TV. Nobody is going to look at that man the same way!' Joe joked when Lara brought up the subject.

Adding that a lot of editing was required to keep Michael's performance qualified for an R rating, Joe explained: 'There's going to be a triple-X version of Michael Strahan's routine on a DVD somewhere.'

One of the topics Joe seemed happiest to discuss was how much he liked making both the original Magic Mike back in 2012 and the new Magic Mike XXL.

'The number one reason to come back and do the sequel was the brotherhood,' admitted Joe.

'We're really a family, or a team if you will. Just getting together and hanging out with those guys for several months was worth it.'

The production was so great, in fact, that actors would come in on their days off: 'It was like a big party, and you just didn't want to miss anything!'

No days off: Even when the actors were not working, they would often arrive on set because they did not want to miss out on the party

While Joe had to once again master difficult choreography in order to be believable as a male stripper, he got one important concession from Magic Mike XXL production.

'I did get to pick my own music in this film. So there's a Nine Inch Nails song that plays during the finale in my routine,' Joe said.

In his interview with Fox News, Joe changed gears a little and talked about the one thing that Sofia said would make her leave him.

Strife-causing? An incident on the movie's set did make Joe's fiancee, actress Sofia Vergara, threaten to dump him

'On take one of my finale routine - which we rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed - my dance partner did something unrehearsed, and the result was me hearing a loud rip and a pop,' Joe explained.

The injury was to the actor's bicep, something that made Sofia nervous.

'She said, "If I see you at the gym tomorrow, we're done! I'm going to leave you! That's it!"'

Since the acting couple has remained together since that incident, Joe apparently did not go to the gym.

Magic Mike XXL will be released in North America on July 1.
