SPOILER ALERT: EastEnders' Nancy and Tamwar take their relationship to the next level as they wake up in bed together

They've been taking things slow in their blossoming romance.

But in an upcoming episode of EastEnders, Tamwar (Himesh Patel) and Nancy's (Maddy Hill) relationship heats up.

The couple are seen waking up in bed together after a passionate kiss leads to much more.

As Tamwar worries that he is drifting apart from Nancy, he finally decides to confront their problems head on and talk to her about his insecurities with their relationship.

The talk seems to work wonders as the couple share an intimate kiss before heading to the bedroom.

But as ever in Albert Square it sounds like Nancy and Tamwar's happiness is short-lived as Nancy opens up to her boyfriend about the Carter family secrets, after they agree to be completely honest with each other.

Speaking to Digital Spy in January about her year ahead on EastEnders, actress Maddy exclaimed that she'd love to see her character finally find love, 'because Nancy barely skimmed the surface with Dexter and she's not had much success in terms of her love life so far. I think she does deserve it!'

The 25-year-old actress also voiced her support for Tamwar and Nancy's pairing up, gushing: 'I think their relationship is not necessarily the expected, so that's great. People shouldn't look past each other just because they're a bit different.'

'In this case, Nancy is a confident tomboy and Tamwar is a bit of a textbook nerd, but I think they're alike in the way they're both misfits. I think they'd be really interesting together and they'd really love each other.'

Whatever happens between Nancy and Tamwar, Maddy has been preparing for a busy year in Walford, revealing that 'just before Christmas our producer said to me, "Make sure you sleep loads at Christmas because I'm going to be working you very hard next year!" I'm well up for it.' 

Maddy was named best Newcomer at the National Television Awards in January, which also saw the BBC soap win the award for Best Serial Drama.

The actress' on screen dad, Danny Dyer (Mick Carter), took home the prize for Best Serial Performance.
