It appears to be wedding season in the Rooney household at the moment.

After witnessing Georgina Dorsett and Tom Cleverley’s nuptials last week, Coleen and her husband Wayne Rooney jetted off to Portugal for another friend’s special day this weekend.

Looking stylish as ever, the married couple were seen arriving back into a blustery Liverpool airport on Monday evening following the latest festivities.

Coleen, 29, confidently paraded her sun-kissed limbs in tiny black and white shorts, which was styled further with a layered blouse and a sleeveless blazer.

With her golden-tinted tresses swept into a chic ponytail, the mother-of-two radiated a gorgeous glow as she made her way towards her ride home while toting her luggage.

The football star, also 29, rocked dark jeans and a plain grey T-shirt which was coupled with a trendy navy jacket.

Before returning back home, Coleen took to her social media sites to share a loving snap of the pair.

She captioned the snap: ‘Amazing day at Alex and Lucy's wedding yesterday. And......Happy Fathers Day to the best Daddy we could wish for @waynerooney.’

The high school sweethearts, who have sons Kai, five, and Klay, two, together, have been together for 13 years and tied the knot in July 2008.

Coleen recently claimed regular date nights is the secret to their long-term relationship.

'We've had our ups and downs and it's been tough at times but we've had so many happy ones too,' she told MailOnline. 'It's just about being as strong individually as we are together and that's all that can happen in a relationship.

'Also now that we have two kids, we make sure that we have time together. We make sure that one night a week we go out for dinner or go to the cinema.'
