He was the ultimate crowd pleaser when he twerked for one lucky fan at a Magic Mike XXL screening in Miami on Wednesday.

But only hours later Channing Tatum, 35, appeared wiped-out when he landed in Los Angeles with his co-star Joe Manganiello, 38.

The exhausted father-of-one kept his head down as he walked through a crowd of awaiting admirers at LAX airport.

Sporting the exact same outfit he wore while dancing for fans, Channing looked comfortable in his olive green jacket and floppy trainers.

The hunk also had a budding five o'clock shadow, as well as a pair of aviator shades propped into his white T-shirt.

Channing flashed a grin as he glanced down at his phone, and seemed unfazed by the large presence of fans.

Like Channing, Joe was casually dressed for the occasion.

The True Blood star teamed his white skeleton print T-shirt with distressed jeans while carrying a grey garment bag and his cell phone.

Meanwhile, it has been a whirlwind day of press adventures for Joe and Channing, who have been intensely drumming up interest for the upcoming sequel to Magic Mike.

Surprise! Tatum made an unannounced appearance at an advanced screening of Magic Mike XXL in Miami, Florida on Thursday

The Magic Mike XXL cast rallied together to support co-stars Adam Rodriguez, Channing, and Jada Pinkett Smith when they were honoured with stars on the Miami Walk Of Fame.

Channing and Jada also made an unannounced appearance at an advanced screening of the movie, where the 22 Jump Street actor surprised fans with an impromptu twerking display.

The stars, accompanied by castmates Joe, Matt Bomer and Adam Rodriguez, appeared to be in good spirits as they entertained the crowd before the comedy was shown.

He's got swagger: Dressed down in a khaki shirt and dark jeans, Channing twerked up quite the storm as he showed off his dance moves in front of many fans

The movie picks up from the story three years after Mike (Channing) bowed out of his stripper lifestyle. He and the remaining Kings Of Tampa hit the road to Myrtle Beach for one last blow-out performance.

On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.

Matt recently joked about how tight the cast had bonded.

'I think anytime you want to form a rock solid ensemble, make everybody get naked. Instant trust happens,' he told Entertainment Weekly.

Channing added, 'I'll forever be able to see them across the room and be like, "You!" [Points across the table] If ever s**t goes down, I know who's willing to go hard - no pun intended.'

Magic Mike XXL is slated to hit US cinemas on July 1, with UK release scheduled for July 3.
