Jordana Brewster displays her shapely legs in teeny shorts as she strolls around New York carrying cute little Julian

She has been in The Fast And The Furious franchise since the first film in 2001.

But there was nothing fast or furious about Jordana Brewster as she smiled happily while carrying her 21-month-old son Julian on a leisurely outing in New York on Thursday.

It looked as if the 35-year-old actress had been exercising as she showed of her beautiful legs in a teeny pair of blue and white shorts.

She paired then with a grey short-sleeved T-shirt that she pulled over a white vest. Jordana completed the look with turquoise and dark blue New Balance sneakers.

Her long raven black hair cascaded around her shoulders and she covered her eyes with a large pair of shades.

The Furious 7 star - who played the wife of the late Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner in the franchise - propped her smiling son on her hip.

Little Julian looked adorable in a grey T-shirt and blue and white striped shorts as the inquisitive tot pointed things out to his mum along the way. 

The actress, who hails from Panama, shares Julian with her producer husband Andrew Form. They met in 2006 on the set of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.

A year later they wed in a private ceremony in the Bahamas, and the couple welcomed son Julian via surrogate in 2013.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel confirmed that Furious 8 is in the pipeline for release in 2017 during an appearance at Las Vegas CinemaCon last month.

He is confirmed to reprise his role as Dominic Toretto with Dwayne Johnson back as Hobbs and Jason Statham will return as Deckard Shaw.

But the producers have yet to reveal whether other regular cast, including Jordana, will also be back.
