Amber Heard and Jada Pinkett Smith each enjoy screen time in the long-awaited sequel to 2012's Magic Mike.

The ladies owned the night in gem-inspired dresses as they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Magic Mike XXL on Thursday.

Amber, 29, must have dropped jaws in her gorgeously purple dress that featured a very deep neckline and thigh-baring front split.

The silky material was gathered neatly around her waist and draped in folds to her slim shins while pointy pumps coloured a slightly varying shade of amethyst adorned her feet.

The wife of Johnny Depp wore her soft brown hair loose and wavy, letting the whole length of it tumble down her back.

Her eyes bore the mark of black liner and dark shadow while her cheeks blushed with rouge and her lips hinted of neutral lip gloss.
