For most dogs a normal day would consist of a walk in the park, a nice snooze and some tasty treats.
But it's down to business for one pup in Japan as he dons a suit to anchor the news.
The dog, named Inuyama Shibao, has become incredibly popular with viewers and, thanks to his cute face, the only thing that he is rolling in is fame.

Inuyama is a Shiba Inu, an ancient breed of dog that is native to Japan.
However, despite his success, the furry anchor hasn't achieved a permanent job yet, as he is actually part of a series of infomercials for Seven Bank, reported People's Daily Online.
In the adverts the dog is seen posed at a desk wearing a smart suit and stylish red and green tie.

Far from being professional, the doggy diva doesn't stay still for long as he begins to play with his toys, wrestle with his legs and even fall asleep with his paws in the air.
The illusion of Inuyama being a news reader is also shattered when he begins to get bored, licks his notes and stands on the desk.
The hilarious clips currently have over 70,000 hits on YouTube and have received resounding praise from viewers.

Others referred to the internet meme, Doge, in their comments, saying: 'Doge, the most respected name in television news' and 'I eagerly await an English version of Doge News. Wow, many like, much praise.'
'Doge' is a slang word for 'dog' and is primarily associated with pictures of Shiba Inu's online.
