Inuyama is a Shiba Inu, an ancient breed of dog that is native to Japan.

However, despite his success, the furry anchor hasn't achieved a permanent job yet, as he is actually part of a series of infomercials for Seven Bank, reported People's Daily Online.

In the adverts the dog is seen posed at a desk wearing a smart suit and stylish red and green tie.

Far from being professional, the doggy diva doesn't stay still for long as he begins to play with his toys, wrestle with his legs and even fall asleep with his paws in the air.

The illusion of Inuyama being a news reader is also shattered when he begins to get bored, licks his notes and stands on the desk.

The hilarious clips currently have over 70,000 hits on YouTube and have received resounding praise from viewers.
