Cesc Fabregas relaxed on holiday as he walked hand-in-hand with his pregnant girlfriend Daniella Semaan in Formentera.

The Chelsea star also took a boat trip with his long-term partner, with whom he has a two-year-old daughter, as he took some time away from the pitch after a busy but successful season.

The pair continued their holiday in the midfielder's home country after previously soaking up the Spanish sun and making a splash on the water on a jetski.

Semaan will give birth to their second child later this year, and they are making the most of their time away before the baby's arrival as they continued their break.

Fabregas was in fine form for Chelsea in his debut season after joining from Barcelona, and he finished the season in style for club and country by lifting the Premier League trophy and netting for Spain in a 2-1 friendly win over Costa Rica.

The 28-year-old was in an adventurous mood on Tuesday as he made a splash in the water on a jetski while Semaan watched on from a yacht, and he later seemed in a more reflective mood perching on a boat himself.

The former Arsenal star posted a picture to his Instagram page of the pair having lunch on Wednesday with the Mediterranean Sea as a serene backdrop.

After scoring three goals and notching 18 assists in 34 appearances, he has gone a long way to repaying his £30million transfer fee. 

But the fun will not last for much longer as he will return to England for pre-season training with Chelsea later this month in order to prepare for their title defence. 

Next month Chelsea will play the first game of their pre-season tour against New York Red Bulls in America, and Fabregas is expected to be part of the squad.
