She shoots, she scores! Johnny Depp left stunned after young female fan plants big wet smacker on his cheek as he films scenes for Pirates Of The Caribbean

He has heaps of adoring fans around the world desperate to get a photo with him.

But when Johnny Depp agreed to pose for snaps with a bunch of youngsters in Hastings Point, New South Wales earlier this week, the 52-year-old actor certainly got more than he bargained for.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star was left stunned on Tuesday after Whitney Aldridge, 21, cuddled up to him for a snap shot and then seized the moment by planting a big wet smacker on his cheek.

The youngster was all sweetness and light as she grinned for the camera for a few seconds, before she locked her hands on the star's face and pressed her plump pout against his chilly face.

However, despite being slightly taken aback by the gesture, Johnny took it all in his stride as he told the brunette beauty, 'Oh bless you're heart,' adding sarcastically, 'You're shy.'

And it's certainly a night Whitney won't forget in a hurry as she believes Johnny is one of the 'most appreciative celebrities' she's ever come into contact with face-to-face.

Speaking to the Northern Star newspaper, she said: 'He is one of the most handsome, gentle, caring, appreciative celebrities I have ever met.'

Meanwhile, last month, Johnny was embroiled in worldwide news when he and wife Amber Heard's dogs Pistol and Boo were threatened with euthanasia after the couple failed to properly declare the canines at Australian customs when they entered the country

Agriculture minister Barnaby Joyce threatened at the time:'Mr. Depp has to either take his dogs back to California or we're going to have to euthanise them.'

He infamously added at the time: 'It's time that Pistol and Boo buggered off to the United States.'

And though the Edward Scissorhands actor is obviously still keen to mingle with Australian citizens, Amber, 29, is less interested in staying in Australia.

Speaking to Sunrise on Monday, she revealed: 'I have a feeling we're going to avoid the land Down Under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there.'

'I guess everyone tries to go for their 15 minutes [of fame], including some government officials,' she added, a thinly veiled shot at Mr. Joyce.

Staying away! And though the Edward Scissorhands actor is obviously still keen to mingle with Australian citizens, Amber, 29, is less interested in staying in Australia
