Last month the star tweeted for the first time from behind bars, 'Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support I love, love, love you all xo T!'

Meanwhile, her husband Joe will break new ground as a 'Real Husband' in a one-hour special showing how he's handling being a single dad while wife Teresa serves time in federal prison.

According to RadarOnline, he will receive $150K for the one hour Bravo special.

Teresa is currently serving a fifteen month prison sentence after she and her husband Joe Giudice, 43, pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in March 2014.

Teresa's last tweet is dated December 23, just days before she surrendered herself for her term behind bars on January 5.

The star gushed about her 14-year-old daughter Gia in the tweet.

'Me and Joe are so proud of our Gia can't wait to see her and the girls perform on Friday. Xx,' the cookbook author said, referencing her husband and Gia's father Joe.

Teresa and her husband were sentenced to their prison terms in October 2014.

The reality star had falsely claimed in a mortgage application that she worked for a company called Modern Era Investment for four years even though prosecutors argued that the reality star was unemployed from 2001 to 2008.

In court, Joe admitted that he failed to file a tax return in 2004. Between 2000 and 2008, he cheated the government out of nearly $250,000 by failing to report about $1 million.

Upon completion of her 15-month sentence, her spouse of 15 years will serve 41 months in prison.

The Italian-born star then faces the possibility of deportation as he is not a US citizen.

Teresa will be released for home confinement on December 23 - just in time for Christmas - and will complete her sentence in her native New Jersey until February.

While Teresa is serving her time, Joe is playing Mr Mom to the couple's daughters Gia, Gabriella (aged 10), Milania (aged nine) and Audriana (aged five).

Since entering prison, Teresa's lawyer told People that his client had been helping teach fitness classes, and had also been assigned the role of kitchen helper, a job he says she enjoys.

Her sister-in-law and fellow Real Housewives Of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga also said Teresa is holding up just fine in prison.

'She's doing as well as can be expected for the situation,' Melissa, who is married to Teresa's brother Joe, told Us Weekly.

Unfortunately, it was recently reported by RadarOnline that the star had sustained a work-out related injury.

When Teresa is released from prison, the mother may already have her old job lined up on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

A source told Us Weekly: 'Bravo wants Teresa back, assuming she's interested.'
